Satchel storytellers have built an enviable reputation among primary and secondary schools for entertaining and educating children of all ages. Their children's books are exciting, modern multicultural stories which are derived from folk tales and folk tale traditions across the world. The books are appropriate for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 of the national curriculum.

The two key storytellers, Peter Kalu and Tariq Mehmood are joined by others to create a very strong, diverse band of educators and yarn spinners. Though based in Manchester they have toured widely across England, UK and beyond.
